On the BEER MICHI road →

One minute from the JR Shinagawa ticket gates, on the third floor of Atre Shinagawa on the Konan side, Antenna America sits inside the Food & Time Isetan food hall and pours American craft beer from up to eight rotating taps from 10am every day. It's run by Nagano Trading, the importer, so the fridge is half the point: cans and bottles you can drink on the spot or take on the train.

Order and pay at the counter, then take your glass to one of the shop's four counter seats, stand at a nearby table, or find a free food-court seat. The four-beer tasting set (¥1,700) is the quickest way across the taps. The shop's own snacks are few; real food comes from the other stalls in the food court.

The shop pitches itself at shinkansen travellers, people picking up a gift on the way home, and anyone who wants a beer before noon. There are English-speaking staff, the tap list is on Untappd, and it's non-smoking with cards and IC accepted.
