On the BEER MICHI road →

u3doco is a food truck, not a bar: a half fillet of mackerel in bread, and draft craft beer from a few taps to wash it down. Its home base is its own small parking lot in Kumegawa-cho, a residential stretch about 18 minutes' walk from Higashimurayama Station. The rest of the time it is out at markets and craft beer events.

Start with the original saba sandwich — soy mayo and coriander seed — or the star-anise miso version if you want the deeper one; the red hot one uses harissa. Beer comes in three glass sizes, so go small and work across the taps. Kunitachi Brewery makes Fu7de, a New Zealand-hop IPA brewed with u3doco to go with the mackerel.

The truck has been running since September 2021, started by a beer-loving owner, so ask what's on. Cards, IC and QR codes work. Check where it is on X or Instagram (@u3doco) before you set out.
